We continually invest in new and innovative products, services, and relationships to allow you to spend more time focusing on your business. In order to continue providing our clients with an outstanding level of service, as of December 1, 2020 we are merging Baseline Payroll with Cavu Human Capital Management. We believe this merger will allow Baseline to become the leading New Mexico payroll and human resources technology and service company.

We chose CAVU HCM because we have partnered with their executive team for over 24 years in helping build Baseline Payroll. We are excited about CAVU’s ability to expand our business and deliver more value to our customers. Be assured, as we begin to implement our new business plan, we will continue to deliver the personal level of service to which you are accustomed. Frequently Asked Questions About the Merger

Why have the two companies merged?
The combination of Baseline Payroll and CAVU HCM brings together the complementary strengths of two great companies. This merger brings together best-in-class technologies, services, products and customer services capabilities across payroll and human capital management solutions. Additionally, the merger allows both companies to expand their geographic coverage, talent and local support capabilities.
Will the merger effect the price I pay for Baseline Payroll’s services?
The price you pay for payroll service from Baseline Payroll will not change. Baseline Payroll and CAVU HCM strive to provide all customers a great value for the products and services they utilize.
Will Baseline Payroll continue to have employees at their office?
Yes, we will staff our physical location as the merger expands our national footprint to three time zones which include team members located in New Mexico, Illinois and Georgia.
Will there be any immediate changes to the existing Baseline Payroll software platform?
The manner in which you enter payroll, your data and reports will remain unchanged. Over time, as complementary capabilities are leveraged, new product and service offerings will be available to Baseline Payroll customers.
How will Baseline Payroll Customers be impacted by the merger?
There will be no immediate impact to customers – you will continue to use the same technology and rely on our support and services as you do today. CAVU HCM’s goal is to continue serving as your go-to partner for all your payroll and human resource needs.
Do you plan to add more products and services to the portfolio via the merger?
Over the coming months, we will begin to offer CAVU HCM’s expanded portfolio of products and services to Baseline Payroll’s customers. We have listed, see Question 12 below, a comprehensive outline of our offerings.
How will the Baseline Payroll staff be impacted?
The key objectives of the merger are to accelerate growth on a national scale and leverage the complementary competencies between Baseline Payroll and CAVU HCM to further strengthen market position, accelerate innovation and deliver an expanded product and service portfolio. As we invest in the pursuit of these objectives, we will create many new growth opportunities for Baseline’s staff.
Can I still pick up my payroll at Baseline Payroll’s office?
Yes, Baseline Payroll’s physical location and office will remain at the same location.
Am I required to do anything as a Baseline Payroll customer?
Federal and State taxing authorities will require each customer to sign new tax authorization documents and a payroll services agreement. For your convenience, we will provide these to you in an electronic format for your digital signature. You will receive a link to these documents via email in the next two weeks. We are a great fit for companies wanting to do business with people.
Will the name of the company change?
There will be a slight immediate change to the name. We will continue to operate under the name Baseline Payroll but we will add “A CAVU HCM Company” to the logo. For the purposes of continuity, CAVU HCM merged and acquired brands have retained their name but also include recognition of CAVU HCM name in the logo.
